At Kings Road Clinic our experienced physiotherapy team are here to help you feel well again. Whether you have had physiotherapy treatment before or are completely new to it, rest assured that our team will put you at ease.
Physiotherapy can help to relieve pain using techniques such as Joint Manipulation and Mobilisation, Muscle & Soft Tissue Myofascial Release, Acupuncture, Electrotherapy, taping techniques and of course exercise. Our treatments help a range of problems from joint pain and injury, to enhancement of your sporting performance.
We've collected a group of physiotherapists with international experience who will examine, explain, treat and relieve your problem. It is all about you...we take pains to keep on top of the latest techniques and developments in physiotherapy and medicine, and work hard to get you smiling and keep you that way. Each of our Therapists has years of knowledge and experience, meaning we can get you back to normal activities and sport as soon as possible.
Cliff McGaughey BSc (Hons), MCSP (HPC registered)
Cliff qualified in 1968 as a Remedial Gymnast whilst in the Royal Marines at the Army School of Physiotherapy and spent 3 years as an advisor in the Middle East.
Following the amalgamation of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and the Society of Remedial Gymnasts in 1984, Cliff became the superintendent of an out-patient department.
Cliff pursued a career in private practice which included a spell with the ATP Tennis Tour and has spent the last 15 years providing first class physiotherapy to the people of Southsea. Cliff is especially interested in Orthopaedic Medicine but due to his early days as a Physical Training Instructor, Sports Physiotherapy is his passion.
Ahmed Osman BSc (Hons),MCSP, AACP, PSI (HPC registered)
After studying Physiotherapy at Cairo University, Ahmed started his physiotherapy career In Egypt, gaining vast amounts of experience in both hospitals and private clinics. Since then he has worked in senior physiotherapist roles in the NHS, in Hampshire, Sussex, London and Kent.
Ahmed has a wealth of experience in musculoskeletal conditions including headaches, sports injury and neurological complaints including dizziness. He also specialises in traditional Chinese and western acupuncture.
